Higgins Lodge, a year-round conference and retreat facility, sits on a ridge overlooking the Yadkin river valley. Higgins offers 48 sleeping rooms, a full service dining room and 5 meeting rooms to serve your conference and retreat requirements.

The Bishops Wing has 20 rooms with one double bed and one single bed, for a sleeping capacity of 3 per room. There are four rooms that each have one queen bed, for a sleeping capacity of 2 per room. These four rooms have private baths. For the other 20 rooms, every two rooms are joined by a bath. Making the total capacity of Bishops Wing 68 people.

In the Salem Wing there will be 20 rooms with one queen bed and one double bed, for a sleeping capacity of 4 per room. There are also four ADA rooms with one queen bed, for a sleeping capacity of 2 per room. Making the total capacity of Salem Wing 88 people. All 24 rooms have private baths.

Reservations can be made 11 months in advance. Reservations are contracted on a first come, first served basis, without regard to race, gender, religion, disability or national origin.

Reservations are made for a specific number of rooms. For weekend reservations, all rooms must be booked for two nights. Please indicate how many of each type of room (private bath, semi-private bath or handicap) you prefer when reserving. Laurel Ridge Registrar will assign sleeping rooms. Requests for specific rooms are limited to Handicap Rooms. Groups may add rooms as availability allows but may only decrease initial reservation by 25%.

Groups with 15 or more people will have use of a meeting room included in their rental. Laurel Ridge Registrar will assign meeting rooms. Specific meeting room requests can be negotiated at an additional charge.
