The German word gemein is taken by the Moravian Church to refer to the community in Christ. The mission of the Gemeinhouse is to give time and place to individuals seeking communion with God through spiritual retreat.

Located in a convenient but secluded area of the camp, the Gemeinhouse is a furnished cabin with sitting area, fireplace, kitchen and bathroom. The Gemeinhouse welcomes any individual who seeks spiritual retreat. The quiet beauty of the natural setting creates an atmosphere in which, unencumbered by distractions, a guest may seek spiritual growth through prayer, study, meditation, reflection, relaxation and healing rest.

The Gemeinhouse is available year-round to individuals only. A person who requires assistance in daily living may bring a person to assist them.

Rental Fee per day:
A donation of at least $35.00 is suggested.
Donations over that amount will be held and used to support the use of the facility by those of limited means.

Deposit: $35.00. This deposit is non-refundable.
